New Best Friends! Marble and Wood. March 07 2017

A fresh combo that's trending now is Carrera marble paired with naturally finished woods. We're seeing these two together in everything from coasters and cutting boards to kitchens and baths. It's a match made in heaven where the rustic warmth and color of the wood balances out the sophisticated cool greys of the marble.

In our stores now we have these beautiful kitchen boards. Our little iron mice are so cute alongside your cheese and crackers!

Just in, new Wishbone chairs. The pale wood finish pairs perfectly with the marble on our Lucy Bistro Table.

Pinterest is loaded with marble and wood inspiration! Visit our boards for ideas and track-backs.

Our Agustin Mirror is a warm contrast to the cool finishes in this bath.

Even just a touch of rustic wood makes a huge difference in modern spaces.

Our Skinny Benches (when in stock-we always sell out fast!) can go anywhere!

The Kitchen is the perfect place for marrying marble and wood textures. Barstools are a great option for adding some warmth.

Accessories like wooden chandeliers, clocks and cutting boards are other simple ways to pair the two finishes.

Stop in at Harvest today for more ideas on how to bring marble and wood together!

More Harvest Style and a Brand New Sofa! April 03 2016

Another photoshoot gave us the perfect opportunity to show off our new sectional, the Amsterdam!

The Amsterdam's deep seats and relaxed slip-cover make it the perfect sofa for your comfortable and casual space. It's just dressy enough with it's sloped arms to give your room some extra flair, but once you sit in this sofa you won't want to leave it!

We've paired it here with our Old Fir Bluestone Coffee Table and our Garnett Leather Chairs, but this sofa is transitional enough to go with any existing furnishings you may already have. Visit our Harvest Style page for more products shown in this room scene.

Our new bedroom scene is so beautiful in shades of blue and grey! Mixing different shades of the same colors adds depth and richness without big contrast. This creates a soft and restful feel. Our rustic Omni casegood pieces provide just the right amount of texture to balance out the extra soft bedding and upholstered Humphrey bed and Walton club chair.

Thanks for visiting our site and we look forward to seeing you in the stores soon!

Trending Now! Antiqued Gold and Brass July 03 2014

Just back from the show in Dallas, Karsten and Zandra were thrilled to see what a huge trend gold and brass finishes are right now. Antiqued gold adds warmth and just the right amount of elegance to any interior. From bar carts to light fixtures, the color and texture were everywhere, and perfect for Harvest.

Metallic finishes became very popular in the 50s with the Hollywood Regency trend. Traditionally, this style featured very reflective and shiny surfaces. The Hollywood set loved their "glam". Today, they are toned down a bit with matt finishes and often with a two-toned bronze effect which works well with any decor.

Other Hollywood Regency influences like geometric shapes and the Greek key still look great today and compliment a more contemporary room nicely.

Every space needs a little metallic touch and we're looking forward to getting these and more Harvest accessories in soon.
